The Investigative work by Susan Greene is a true indictment on the hidden cruelty that goes on behind prison walls.I hope that it inspires others to fight to put an end to indefinite isolation of prisoners. Just and fair treatment should not be replaced with administrative vengeance and cruelty. Good work Susan!

I was 21 years old and living in Bolivia when this all happened. I am embarrassed to admit that even from that great distance, I was terrified and fearful. Now living in New York City and mother to a two-year old, I shudder to imagine what it was like. Thank you for sharing this story, and your perspective as a parent.
